CT-Scanner

Since 2006, Dr. Marinic has had the Galileos CT Scanner in our dental office. In the last 23 years, Dr. Daniel K. Marinic has participated in over 1240 hours of continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, maxillofacial pain, laser training, oral surgery and dental implants. Dr. Daniel K. Marinic saw the need for three dimensional imaging and incorporated a Cone Beam Volumetric Tomogram (CBVT) in his dental office. The CT Scanner provides his patients with the most accurate treatment planning as well as the safest method to perform these procedures. The Sirona Galileos CT Scanner allows Dr. Marinic the ability to evaluate your oral health and discuss with you, in office, the safest and most accurate treatment plan.

In addition to performing complex diagnosis, three dimensional CT scans allow for virtual implant treatment planning, the safest and most accurate way to plan the placement of dental implants. Vital structures are identified, the optimal position of the teeth are determined and then the dental implant surgery is performed virtually to produce a surgical guide.

Finally, the patient specific, computer milled surgical guide is fabricated in Germany. The surgical guide is extremely precise and not only reduces the time required to place dental implants but also the patient's healing time.
